The SMAPIAN community is buzzing with excitement and pride! For the first time in our history, a currently serving teacher and dorm warden has been selected to represent the national Bunga Raya Men’s Rugby 7s (7s) squad at the upcoming SEA Games in Thailand!
A massive congratulations goes to Cikgu Md Azwan Zuwairi Mat Zizi!
Already a rugby international before transferring to Labu, Cikgu Azwan has been instrumental in the recent success and improved quality of training for SMAP’s own rugby teams over the past few years. Now, he gets to take his incredible skills and dedication to the international stage.
The national squad will begin their tournament on 13th December.
We send our very best wishes and support to Cikgu Azwan as he proudly dons the national colours. Let’s cheer him on to victory!
